2011 Chardonnay, Central Coast Silver Medal
This Chardonnay is delicately oaked and offers aroma's of apple and pear, with creamy vanilla notes. It is pleasantly balanced with medium body and a velvety structure. It pairs well with roasted chicken, shell fish, halibut, salmon, red snapper, swordfish, mild creamy cheeses and Ceasar salad. If you are in the mood for something sweet, a lemon truffle is divine with this Chardonnay. This wine was awarded a silver medal at the 2013 San Francisc Chronicle competiion.
